Rachel Murphy has expressed concern about what happened to his 5-pound dog Toto last weekend. Rachel claims that a groomer taped Toto r’s mouth shut when it was bitten. This resulted in the dog looking bloody and being distressed.
Rachel told the story, "My puppy was in obvious distress. What I originally thought was an actual muzzle, turned out to actually be tape. Toto r's feet were visible red and damaged, with toenails that were too close to paws. This likely triggered Toto r biting.
Wow! My Dog, an on-the-go pet salon, employed the groomer that was responsible for this.
Rachel took Toto straight to the hospital for emergency medical care. He has accused Wow! My Dog of animal abuse, joining numerous others who have made similar allegations. San Mateo initiated an investigation for possible animal abuse.
Rachel described his observations, saying "I saw wounds in the genital, neck, and near the joints." The wounds were so severe they caused bleeding."
Marianna De las Vegas posted on Yelp a review about how Wow! My Dog returned his animals to him in a bad condition or with injuries. Another customer captured a Snapchat video showing a dog in apparent pain, animal abuse ethos claiming that a groomer had forcefully inserted a napkin into the dog's ear.
Bad Review
Wow! My Dog wants customers to also be aware of what groomer told them, as a person they had trusted with their pets. Rachel revealed, "Juliann informed that it was acceptable to tape the mouth closed, and that it's preferable to using muzzles, which he believed could be harmful to dogs. He mentioned that he used the same method for his own dogs.
Gate News contacted Wow! My Dog who answered it but handed it off to a woman, who informed her that she was investigating the allegations. She quickly responded that Wow! My Dog was a separate company when asked about it, and abruptly ended the call.
